Advisor Rocket Help Center

Advisor Rocket helps financial advisors create useful LinkedIn posts faster.
Instead of starting with a blank page, Advisor Rocket gives you timely topics, planning ideas, and post drafts designed for financial advisors. You can choose a topic, generate a post, edit it, and then copy it into LinkedIn.
Advisor Rocket is meant to save time on research and writing while still giving you control over the final message.
-
Advisor Rocket is built for financial advisors who want to share more helpful content on LinkedIn without spending hours figuring out what to say.
It can be especially useful if you want to:
Stay visible with clients and prospects
Explain financial topics in a simple way
Share timely planning ideas
Turn market news into client-friendly insights
Post consistently without starting from scratch every time
Advisor Rocket helps create the first draft, but you should always review and personalize the post before publishing.
-
To create your first post:
Log in to your Advisor Rocket account.
Go to the Today’s Opportunities page.
Choose a topic section, such as market news, lifestyle goals, planning by life stage, etc.
Select a topic that fits your audience.
Choose a post style and length.
Generate your post.
Review and edit the post.
Copy the final version and paste it into LinkedIn.
The generated post is a starting point. You can change the wording, shorten it, add your own perspective, or adjust the tone before posting.
-
No. You should think of each post as a strong first draft.
Before posting, take a few minutes to make sure it sounds like you. You may want to:
Add a personal observation
Remove anything that feels too formal
Make the language more conversational
Adjust the takeaway for your audience
Add a custom footer
Confirm the post meets your firm’s compliance requirements
The best posts usually feel advisor-owned, not copied and pasted.
-
Before publishing a post on LinkedIn, review it for accuracy, tone, and compliance.
Ask yourself:
Is this clear?
Does this sound like me?
Is this helpful to my audience?
Is anything too specific, too promotional, or too certain?
Does my firm require a disclosure or review process?
Are there any numbers or factual claims that need to be verified?
Advisor Rocket helps with content creation, but you are responsible for reviewing and approving anything you publish.
-
Advisor Rocket helps you create the post, but you will usually copy and paste the final version into LinkedIn or any other platform yourself.
This gives you a chance to review the content, make edits, add formatting, and ensure everything is ready before publishing.
-
A good first post is simple, clear, and useful.
You do not need to sound like a market expert or write a long article. The goal is to help your audience understand something that may affect their financial decisions.
A strong post usually does three things:
Introduces a relevant topic.
Explains why it matters.
Gives the reader one practical takeaway.
For your first post, choose a topic that feels familiar and easy to explain. It is better to publish something clear and helpful than to overthink it.
-
Start by choosing a topic that would be useful to your clients or prospects.
Good topics usually fall into one of these categories:
A timely financial news story
A common client question
A planning decision people often delay
A life event that affects someone’s finances
A market topic that needs a simple explanation
A retirement, tax, estate, insurance, or education planning issue
The best topic is not always the most popular one. It is the one your audience is most likely to care about.
-
Advisor Rocket may include several types of topic sections, such as:
Market news
Fast-moving financial signals
Retirement planning
Tax planning
Estate planning
Insurance planning
Education planning
Lifestyle and goals
Planning by life stage
Evergreen planning topics
Some topics are based on current events. Others are evergreen topics that are useful at any time.
-
A timely topic is connected to something happening now, such as market news, interest rates, tax changes, economic data, or a recent headline.
An evergreen topic is useful anytime. These may include topics like saving for retirement, helping aging parents, teaching kids about money, preparing for college costs, or reviewing estate documents.
Timely topics can help your posts feel current. Evergreen topics can help you stay consistent even when there is no obvious news event to discuss.
-
Ask yourself a few simple questions:
Would my clients care about this?
Does this connect to a real planning decision?
Can I explain why it matters in plain English?
Would this help someone think more clearly about their financial life?
Does this topic fit the type of clients I serve?
If the answer is yes, it is probably a good topic to use.
-
Yes. If the post is not going in the direction you wanted, you can go back and choose a different topic.
You can also keep the same topic and try a different post style, if available. Sometimes the topic is right, but the framing needs to change.
For example, a topic about interest rates could become:
A simple explanation
A planning takeaway
A question clients may be asking
A reminder to avoid emotional decisions
A practical action item
-
If a topic feels too broad, narrow it down to one specific angle.
For example:
Instead of:
Retirement planningTry:
What to think about before retiring earlyInstead of:
Market volatilityTry:
Why market volatility can make long-term decisions harderInstead of:
College planningTry:
Why college costs should be discussed before senior yearA narrower topic usually creates a clearer and more useful post.
-
You have lots of options.
You can:
Choose the closest available topic, add Optional Context to align with your audience or area you want to focus on, and edit any generated post to match your intended angle.
Use an Timeless Topic as a starting point, then customize the post with your own perspective or a timely example.
Create a post using our Write a Custom Post feature where you can enter your own idea, text from an article, or even a link to content you want to post about.
Advisor Rocket includes a custom topic option, you can enter your own topic and generate a post from that idea.
-
Yes. Many planning topics are worth revisiting.
You can reuse a topic by changing the angle, audience, or post style. For example, a retirement income topic could be written for:
People five years from retirement
Business owners preparing for a transition
Couples with different retirement timelines
Clients worried about market volatility
People deciding when to claim Social Security
Revisiting important topics can be useful because your audience may need to hear the same idea more than once, in different ways.
-
Advisor Rocket gives you a strong first draft, but the best posts usually include some of your own judgment, language, and perspective.
Customizing a post helps it feel more natural and advisor-owned. It also gives you a chance to make sure the message fits your audience, your firm, and your voice before publishing.
-
Before generating a post, use the Optional Context feature to tailor the message to your audience or an approach that sounds like you.
After the post is generated, read it once as if you were saying it to a client.
Then adjust anything that feels too formal, too generic, or not quite how you would explain it.
You may want to:
Replace formal phrases with words you actually use
Add a short client-style observation
Remove sentences that feel unnecessary
Make the opening line more direct
Simplify technical language
Add a practical takeaway
A good test is this: would you feel comfortable saying the post out loud to a client or prospect?
-
You can make the post more relevant by connecting it to the people you serve. The best way to do this is by utilizing the Optional Context feature before generating a post.
For example, you might adjust the post for:
Families preparing for college costs
People nearing retirement
Business owners
Executives with equity compensation
Recently divorced individuals
Widows or widowers
Young professionals
Retirees managing income and taxes
The more clearly the post connects to a real audience, the more useful it usually becomes.
-
Yes. You can edit the post to make it sound more conversational, educational, direct, thoughtful, reassuring, or concise.
Explore the different options in the Post Focus, Audience Level, and Length refinements.
The goal is not to make every post sound the same. The goal is to make each post sound like something you would be comfortable sharing.
-
A custom footer is optional text that can appear at the bottom of your generated posts.
Advisors often use custom footers for:
Educational disclaimers
Firm-approved disclosures
Soft calls to action
Contact information
A consistent closing message
Example:
This post is for educational purposes only and should not be considered personalized financial advice.
-
To add or edit your custom footer:
Generate a post.
Find the Add Footer Content located in the bottom-right corner of your post.
Click “Create Custom Footer” and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can update your footer anytime by accessing the “Manage Footer Content” from the same “Add Footer Content” button.
-
After Advisor Rocket generates a post, review the draft in the editor.
Click into the post text and make any changes you want before copying it to LinkedIn. You can edit the opening line, body, takeaway, footer, spacing, or overall length.
The generated post is not locked. It is meant to be reviewed, adjusted, and personalized before publishing.
-
If the post does not feel right, you have a few options:
Edit the draft directly.
Try a different Focus or Audience Level then click “Regenerate Post”.
Choose a different topic.
Add some Optional Context.
Use the post as inspiration and rewrite it in your own words.
Sometimes the topic is good, but the angle needs to change. A small adjustment can often make the post much stronger.
-
Yes. You should verify any specific facts, numbers, dates, tax limits, market data, or regulatory references before publishing.
This is especially important for posts related to:
Tax rules
Contribution limits
Interest rates
Market performance
Inflation data
Social Security
Medicare
Legal or estate planning issues
Recent news or economic reports
If you are not sure a detail is accurate, either verify it, cite the source if appropriate, or remove the specific detail.
-
You are responsible for the final content you publish.
Advisor Rocket helps you create a draft, but you should review, edit, and approve the post before sharing it publicly. Follow your firm’s policies and compliance process.
-
Once your post is ready, copy the final version from Advisor Rocket and paste it into LinkedIn.
Before publishing:
Review the post one last time.
Make sure it sounds like you.
Confirm the content is accurate.
Add, remove, or adjust your footer if needed.
Follow your firm’s compliance process.
Paste the post into LinkedIn.
Preview the formatting.
Publish when ready.
Advisor Rocket helps you create the post, but you control what gets published.
-
No, but maybe someday. For now our focus is on curating the best topics and generating the best posts to help advisors increase visibility and generate more client connections.
Advisor Rocket is designed to help you create LinkedIn-ready content. You will copy the post from Advisor Rocket and paste it into LinkedIn or your platform of choice, yourself.
This gives you full control over the final version before it goes live.
-
Start with a schedule you can maintain.
For many advisors, posting one to three times per week is a realistic goal. You can always increase later if you have the time and process to support it.
A simple approach:
One timely post
One evergreen planning post
One personal or client-focused insight
Consistency builds familiarity over time.
-
After publishing, check back later to see how people respond.
You may want to:
Reply to comments
Thank people who engage
Answer general questions carefully
Save strong post ideas for future use
Notice which topics get the most engagement
Engagement is not just about likes. A good post can create trust, start conversations, and remind people what you help with.
